Dr. Mitchell's office is well staffed and furnished with state of the art equipment and technology. All of the assistants are certified in radiography and CPR. The lead assistants, Colleen and Marcy, are oral and maxillofacial anesthesia assistants and phlebotomists. The other assistants, Annette, Naomi and Kendra are dental assistants with expanded functions (EFDA).

The Madison Street office has seven OR suites. Six operatories are used as daily minor surgery suites, and the central operatory is a sterile suite set-up similar to a hospital for more complex and lengthy procedures. Dr. Mitchell also has invested in a dental CT imaging scanner (the next generation i-CAT). This scanner is state-of-the-art and is the first in Pasco County. The scan aids Dr. Mitchell in defining the maxillofacial and dental regions for diagnosing and treatment planning. Conventional intraoral radiographs, along with a digital Panorex unit are also available for the benefit of his patients.
