He is a Summa cum Laude graduate of the West Virginia University Dental School, and has been serving the community in and surrounding New Port Richey for more than 20 years.
A recipient of the distinguished Robinson Gold Medal Award for highest academic average at West Virginia University Dental School, Dr. Mitchell has continued his commitment to excellence by staying abreast of the latest developments in the field of Oral Maxillofacial surgery.
He is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and is section chief of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Mease/Morton Plant Hospital. He also enjoys surgical privileges at the following hospitals; Mease Health Care Dunedin, Mease Health Care Countryside, Trinity Out-Patient Center and North Bay Hospital.
Dr. Mitchell has more than twenty years of extensive expertise in his field and has been inducted into the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
